National Naval Aviation Museum

Pensacola Florida was about 30 minutes from us and is home to this museum.  Not only does it have an amazing display of planes, but is also the base for the Blue Angels.  They had practice the week we were there, so we headed over for the day.  It is all free!

We arrived early and enjoyed looking at the planes in Hanger 1.  The best part was that they made most of them accessible to climb on and in, so Camden enjoyed it as much as her dad.

The practice started at 11:30am and we were advised to start heading to the field as soon as the gate opened.  So at about 10, we headed out toward the field.  Thousands (literally!) were already streaming there, so we moved in and got a good seat on the bleachers.
