Flowers

Camden and her dad surprised me with a beautiful pot of flowers. They are not only beautiful, but the card is so sweet. They are both so thoughtful!

We spent a little bit of the evening tossing a frisbee and enjoying the decent degree weather. Camden loves being outside. I guess she's not too sure about grass...

...but her pack-n-play is perfect for being outside with her mom and dad.

Teacups and Golf Balls

We walked over to Grandma and Grandpa French's a few nights ago. Camden's favorite toy at their house is a set of stackable teacups.

Although she hadn't been feeling great, she warmed up and enjoyed the visit. Grandma French sure makes her laugh!

And, of course, Grandpa French needs to balance the interest (not just "girlie" things like teacups) with his favorite pasttime - golf.

She was fascinated with the little ball and enjoyed putting it in the teacups.

Feeling Better

Camden's been battling a cold and hasn't quite been herself lately. She's had a slight fever, a very runny nose, and itchy eyes. I think her ears are bothering her a little, too, but that might be because of teething. Today she did feel like playing a bit.

Her new trick is to try to eat the bar on her play mat. Must feel good on her teeth and gums.

First Tooth

And the second one is not far behind! Although Camden does not wanting to pose for a photo to show them off. Everything else can go in her mouth, but not my finger when we want a picture!

Crocs

When Camden was born, Grandma French bought her a pair of pink Crocs. Today, she was able to wear them for the first time. They are too adorable!

And when she sits in her stroller and swings her legs, I can hardly stand how cute it is!

Sunday Best

Aunt Carole bought Camden a beautiful dress and we finally had a beautiful day to wear it to Church. Everyone commented on the "pretty little girl in the pretty little dress." We have to agree!

Cracks me up!

Helping Daddy

Kevin had to add some gadgets to his new toy, so Camden spent some time helping him out. There was also a break in the winter weather, so she got to try out her new umbrella stroller too.

Was I really the mom who said her girl wouldn't be in pink all the time? Well, if Camden didn't look so cute in it....

Naptime

Kevin and I painted Austin's room today and really needed Camden to take a good morning nap. She usually only complies if she is laying in one of our laps, but today the couch seemed to be just fine.



It cracked me up when I checked on her and she was sprawled out with her leg up on the pillow.


She's been sleeping on her side when she's in her crib, so this was a little unusual. But the room got done!

Everything...

...goes in her mouth. Camden has a basket of toys that she plays with every evening. She loves rummaging through it for the next item.

But every toy from her basket will have to pass the mouth test before it's put on the floor.

What can you say? It's a pretty fun game!

They Are On the Way, Grandma!

Camden had her "official" 6-month portraits taken last month. While the scanned image has some flaws, the real-deal are just adorable. But when you're talking about Camden, there is just no other way it could be!

I'm not sure which is my favorite. Today I lean toward the "brown" one...just in her white shirt behind a little table. Although I really love the pink one...and then there's the profile...but let's not forget about the close-up face shot. I love them all!
