Day 6: Denver Zoo

That afternoon we spent at the Denver Zoo. We really enjoy visiting zoos wherever we go. This was a very well maintained park that obviously took good care of their animals. It was also a very nice size. Not too large to feel exhausted, but still had a ton to see. Lora's brother is currently working on building the structures in the new Asian section. It was cool to walk by it and see what he was up to.

Camden enjoyed all the animals until naptime was calling. Unfortunately she only got about a 45 minute doze in before she woke up, but it made a big difference in the rest of her visit.

The great ape section was our last area.

While there, we ran into this cutie and I just love the resulting picture. Gotta love a John Deere man.
