Easter Egg Hunt

We headed to southern Illinois for our annual Easter festivities with Kevin's family on Sunday morning. Before we left, we had a small Easter Egg Hunt for Camden. The grass was wet, so we just used the flower bed since it wasn't in bloom yet. I couldn't find my Easter baskets, so Camden had to use a plastic mixing bowl...

PopPop and Austin helped her pick up the last few since she was having more fun dumping the bowl once she had four or five eggs in it.

Camden discovered the bowl of Easter treats on the kitchen table when we got back inside. These were for all of us to share, however, Camden sure loved her "bunny."
She is also now completely enamored with "eggs." She believes they all have special goodies inside.

Such a doll!! That is a beautiful Easter dress. Looks like you all had a wonderful Easter! Wish we could have been with you. We have just a week more of tax season, then we'll have more free time. I've had a bad cold, sinus infection and asthma problems since the first of March, and hope it's finally getting better. Looking forward to seeing you all before long. Love you bunches!

Maybe that's why she wants eggs for breakfast every morning:) Dumping is Camden's favorite thing to do with anything that should be contained-look out Mom. It doesn't bode well for the condition of her room or laundry basket:)
