We got her into her stroller and she slept as we walked, but then woke up for a cute picture with her Daddy.
We then headed to the St. Louis Zoo. The sky unleashed a downpour for about 15 minutes so we got a little wet. But still walked a bit. We were tired, but overall, still a little disappointed in the zoo. We had heard such good things about it and we love zoos, but it seemed we had to walk forever to see an animal! We weren't sure if we just started in the wrong direction and would have seen more on a different route or what, but we only stayed for about an hour or so, then headed out. Besides the skies were threatening again!
We headed back to the hotel to get cleaned up and go out for an early dinner. We went to a little restaurant in St. Charles that was fantastic. We just had sandwiches and salads, but shared a few appetizers (they were 1/2 price!). Our favorite...fried portabella mushroom strips! Then back to the hotel for the evening to swim....
