DisneyWorld Adventure Begins

The next week or so will be filled with pictures from our vacation.  It started early (4 am early!) when we left to catch a 6:30 flight.

Papaw took Ginger the night before (she would stay the week with him)...and we took his car.  We then swung by to pick him up at 4:30 on departure day so he could drop us at the airport.

To get a reasonably-priced ticket, but still have a good portion of the day at a Disney park, we had one short layover in Charlotte, NC - just enough to stretch our legs and change planes.  Thankfully with one of Disney's services - the Magical Express - our luggage was taken care of from drop off in Indy until we arrived in our Disney resort room.

The early flight also meant we got a beautiful, sky-high view of the sunrise.  Pictures can't do it justice!  

We arrived in Orlando around 11am.  The tram from the terminal to the main airport hub gave us a good preview of the beautiful weather awaiting us in Florida.

By 12:30pm we had stopped by our room and made our way to Hollywood Studios for an afternoon of fun.  Let the adventures begin...
