Disney: Day 2 - Magic Kingdom, O'Hana, and Pandora

We had an early first morning with breakfast reservations at Be Our Guest restaurant in Magic Kingdom at the Beast's Castle.  We got to enter before the park opened, so was able to walk down Main Street without a crowd and were let into a part of the park that others wouldn't enter for another 45 minutes.

We had preordered our food the night before, so we could go right in and get a seat.  We were given a "rose" that let the wait staff know which table to bring our food to.

Before our food arrived, Camden had a headache!  She didn't want to eat, but also didn't want to go back to the hotel for sleep/medicine.  After some failed attempts at taking aspirin pills, we did get her to eat some food, which actually helped a bit.  She decided to push through it.

Our yummy breakfast came with a plate of bakery items and we ordered a "master's cupcake" because it came with "the grey stuff" which is a thing in the Beauty and the Beast movie.

Breakfast was such an "experience."  Dealing with the headache was one thing, but Kevin also sat down at the table and his shorts caught on his knee and ripped from the bottom hem up the leg through his crotch.  Thankfully he was wearing NEW mid-thigh long underwear...unfortunately they were as white as snow.   We debated going back to the hotel for more medicine and a change of clothes, but that would take over an hour.  We just made sure one of us walked in front of him throughout the day.  It was hilarious!

We timed breakfast just perfect to go on the Seven Dwarfs Mine ride as the park was opening.  We stepped in line just before a MASSIVE crowd turned the corner.  We waited only 5 minutes to ride, but if we had been even 30 seconds later, we would have had a 45 minute wait!  On the way out, we saw Peter Pan coming toward us.  He was on his way to his autograph location, but stopped and talked to us.  When he asked where we were heading, we told him we were actually going to his ride (our first fast pass).  He took Camden by the shoulders and told her he was going to show her the way.  He talked non-stop!  It truly was an experience we will never forget.

We rode rides and met several characters for autographs for several more hours.

Buzz Lightyear ride & character meet:

Haunted Mansion (oops...didn't cover up the ripped shorts!):

Space Mountain:

Splash Mountain:

Main Street:

We headed back to our resort, got changed, took medicine and headed to the Polynesian Resort for dinner at our favorite Disney restaurant - O'Hana.

This was an early dinner reservation, so we decided to head over to Animal Kingdom to try to fit in a ride or two.  We went straight to the newest area - Pandora.

Our goal was to ride the Flight of Passage.  This was our longest wait (about 35-45 minutes), but SO WORTH IT!  We had a fast pass later in the week and couldn't wait.

The tree of life is so cool.  There is a closing program around it, but we were tired and decided not to stay.

We were pretty worn out, so did do very little else before heading back to our resort.  It was still only around 8:30pm so we did a quick evening swim before calling it a night.
