Monday Afternoon - EPCOT World Showcase

In the afternoon we headed back to the World Showcase.  In this part of Epcot, the cultures and cuisines of 11 countries (Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, the United States, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom, and Canada) are featured.  Each country has a pavilion and a few stores/restaurants.  It was also the International Food & Wine festival so there were extra booths from other countries with snacks/sample-size dishes to purchase.

We had saved some of our snack credits from our dining plan to use to taste things from around the world.  However, Camden was quite done for the day (hence her refusal to be in our pictures) and another downpour hit just after we took these pictures in France.

We only made it about 1/3 of the way around, but we had a few samplings:
* Dominican Republic: Souffle de yuca - a yuca souffle topped with griddled cheese
* Canada: wild mushroom beef filet mignon with truffle butter sauce
* France: Creme brulee vanille chocolat: vanilla & chocolate creme brulee topped with carmelized sugar
* Australia:  Grilled lamb chop with mint pesto and potato crunchies
* Mexico: Chilaquiles de pollo: corn chips layered with chicken, queso fresco, sour cream and cliantro

It was getting late (around 6pm) and we were all pretty tired.  So we decided to head back to Norway to get some School Bread (an amazing pastry/bread that has a Disney cult following) to take back to the hotel for our dinner/snack.

We passed the Mexico pavilion where we had gotten pictures earlier in the day.

On our way out, we decided to do two last rides - Test Track and Mission Space (again).  The photographer got some cute pictures of Camden in front of her this favorite ride.

On our way out of the park that night, the night sky and illuminated ball were beautiful.
