Caribbean Beach Resort

We stayed in a moderate Disney resort.  It was one of the oldest and largest resorts on property and had recently been renovated.  There were six sections of rooms each identified by a Caribbean country.  We stayed in Trinidad North.

Other sections across the lake from us.  There was a small island in the center of the lake, but the bridges connecting everything were closed for repairs so we never explored this area.

We paid a little bit extra to have a "preferred" room which meant it was in one of two sections closest to the main part of the resort/food court/restaurant/swimming pool (with slide).  Camden, as you can imagine, loved the biggest of the two slides.  It wound through this old "fort" through a dark tunnel before dumping you out into the main pool.

The smaller slide didn't have quite the zing.

Each section also had it's own "quiet" swimming pool and a beach area.  We enjoyed this pool as much as the big one!  Camden really enjoyed the beach and would have spent more time there if we had been at the resort a little more often.

Our room was also a corner room and closest to our sections bus stop.  This was PERFECT after a long day to only have to stumble 50 feet to our room.  We really enjoyed this resort - it was a nice home away from home.
