Monday morning we got up and headed to Lafayette to enjoy a day at Columbian Park. Our first stop was the Zoo. Camden wants to go through at a pretty quick pace, but she enjoyed seeing each animal.
This festive shirt has been worn every 4th of July that she has existed. This is it's 3rd appearance! Just before her 1st birthday, it was a long dress. Last year I put shorts under it, but she almost didn't need it. This year it's definitely a shirt! Interestingly, that silly strap has fallen off her shoulder every year (despite the fact that I've shortened it several times). I am retiring it officially this year.
It was beautiful weather in the morning, not too humid yet. We were glad we hit the zoo first. It was warm enough, though, to change into a swimsuit so she could play in the water fountains at the zoo entrance.
A good start to a LONG day...

Don't know if Kevin told Gina but I asked Camden what she wanted for her birthday this year and she said, "Um, Um, an ELEPHANT!". Aunt Carole might be as soft as grandma so Joseph suggested that you start planting the hay and Ric told Kevin to work on the fence:)
