Trip to Illinois

We spent the 4th of July weekend in Illinois with Great-Grandma Beasley and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Once again, Camden was the entertaining queen and kept everyone laughing at her various adventures, faces, and discoveries.

Rain looked like it was going to ruin the fireworks, but we were able to go to a nearby small town for a very decent display. We ended up running into Kevin's cousins and spent the evening with them. Several of the kids had glow sticks and, while Camden enjoyed borrowing one for a bit, she really loved the fireworks best.

On Sunday, we went to a nearby lake for a picnic and visit with more relatives.

The concession stand had hummingbird feeders and at least 50 birds were flittering about. Camden was mesmerized.

It was so wonderful to visit everyone. We wish we could get over there more often.
