Children's Museum Field Trip

This week was a fantastic trip to Indy for a day at the museum with her classmates.  We got there just in time to be some of the first people down the Jolly Days slide.

After seeing a show (another post) and lunch, we were on our own to explore.  We headed to the 4th floor for our favorite hands-on science area, with a stop at the doll houses.

There were plenty of parents that went so we were "on our own."  However we stayed with Mrs. Barr and Gabby for most of the day, but often ran into other friends.  Max and Camden enjoyed steering this vehicle.

It was a perfect crowd so we were able to go twice on the merry-go-around.  And since we are members we don't have to pay for this "extra" attraction.

The carousel was definitely one of her favorite stops of the day and I got several cute pictures of her, Gabby and Mrs. Barr (above), and Rylie.

It was a short visit and we were fairly rushed.  But we made sure to end our day with a visit to Santa.  He was such a great one - asking for what she had on her list and talking to her about making sure to clean her room to make room for more toys.  He also told her to make sure everything was off the floor so that he didn't step on something when he came to her house.
