Shopping With Gramma

On Saturday morning, Camden and I journeyed to Greenwood Mall to meet Gramma Pat for some shopping.  Our first stop was Kohl's.  Camden eagerly ran into Gramma's arms for a hug, then headed off to see the Christmas trees and decorations while I looked for a new purse.  Camden and Gramma joined me and Camden picked out a few for herself.  Apparently she likes red.

Next we headed over to the main mall and enjoyed some window shopping along with stops at the play areas for a break.  Camden hitched a ride on the little merry-go-round with another couple of kids.  Gramma had to walk beside her the whole time.

Down the hall a bit, we came across a Colts store that had a punching bag out front.  Camden had a ball making it weeble and then bounce back up.

We took a lunch break at Paradise Cafe and Bakery for some yummy salad and soup.  I knew we had back light from the sun, but I wanted a picture of Camden and her Gramma.

Then back to the mall for more shopping.  Camden wanted to do the "alligator" at Macy's and Gramma happily obliged.

We finally found the main playland area and Camden got a final 30-minutes of running, climbing, and sliding in front of Gramma before it was time for us to head home.

We had to get home for trick-or-treating...and take a much needed nap.  Camden was out about 3 minutes drive away from the mall!  Thankfully it's an hour drive and she slept another 1/2 hour once we got home.

Such a fun day for all!

We had such a great day! Let's do it again soon. Grandma Pat misses her girls and her grandchildren, too. Life gets too busy!
