Our Neighborhood

We got the wagon out and trekked through the neighborhood.  She is still so young and doesn't need so much candy, so we only hit the houses between Papaw's house and ours.

Our neighborhood is perfect for trick or treating.  It is so small town America!  Everyone is out either walking their kids or sitting on their porch waiting for kids.  Porch lights are on.  And our neighbors are so generous to the kids.  It wasn't just one little dumdum sucker she got.  It was a handful of candy or a baggie of treats.  We only hit seven houses, but her bucket was overflowing!

Our two neighbors that we know the best, "Grandma" as Camden calls the older lady who owns Fritz the dog and Crystal our immediate next door neighbor, were especially impressed with our little cow.  But, in reality, she was a hit at every house.  She had mastered, "Trick or treat" and "thank you" by the time we were at the second house, so she was beyond cute!

How neat to see all of the neighbors on their porches waiting for the little ones. A great picture of what Halloween should be like! And the little cow was precious:)
