Golfing with GaGa and Grandpa

Unfortunatley Labor Day fell on Kevin's day off, so he didn't get a long weekend (at least he gets 6 days of pay for 5 days of work). However, we both still home (and awake), so we decided to spend it golfing and grilling. It was Camden's second time on a golf course, but the first time she was only 10 months old (at the UP golf tournament) and didn't do much but sit on my lap. This time it was a true adventure. It was actually a perfect activity for her because she got to run and ride and be with people she loved...and all of it outside, too!

She really loved the golf carts. She went back and forth between riding with us and riding with her grandparents, but really preferred her time with them. Afterall, Grandpa's a ranger on the course, so he had a special cart.

She had several tasks to take care of along the way. She had to put the tees in and take balls out of the bags. She did this at every stop.

Her primary job at each hole was to take the flag out and move it to the side. She did a great job too!

She also helped retrieve the balls from the hole.

And looked for lost balls in the high grass.

She learned to be quiet when someone was putting and to watch the ball as it rolled (not go pick it up along the way!).

Finally, she even got to practice her putting skills.

She's talked about going golf ever since Monday and is crossing her fingers that she'll be able to "go 'gin."
