Since we were only 10 minutes from the Wisconsin border and 15 minutes from the Jelly Belly Factory, we headed there after a last morning swim at Great Wolf Lodge.
This was not the actual factory, but a warehouse where the nearby factory ships online orders from. We sat in a little train and wound through the warehouse where we stopped periodically to learn more about how Jelly Belly jellybeans are made.
All the art work along the way is made from jellybeans!
After the tour, we each got a small bag of Jelly Belly. Then we headed to the gift shop where we could sample as many jellybeans as we wanted. They had a "bar" with every flavor they make at it...even the gross Bean Boozled kind (think puke, snot, rotten eggs, etc). I didn't try any of those, but you know the kids did!
I think they forgot they had their hats on as we drove home from our fantastic excursion.
