In celebration of elementary school completion, we took Camden and two of her besties on an overnight to Great Wolf Lodge in Gurnee, IL. Because we had to go through Merrillville, a stop at Albanese was a must. Braxton and Sophia could not believe the options...and the samples.
Before we got back on the road, we needed some lunch so we hit the nearby Portilla's for hot dogs/chili cheese dogs.
We went back and forth about bringing a boy, but finally decided (with discussion with his mom) that these three were still in an okay stage and the suite we selected had 3 separate twin beds (plus a queen for us), so it would be fine. It was!
This hotel was new or newly renovated and was very nice. Even the lightening decor was cute.
