Fair Oaks Farm - Pork Adventure and Cowfé

We had about an hour or so before our bus trip to the pig farm, so we headed to the Pork Adventure building for play and ropes course.

Cracked me up when I saw my finger...but this little pigs house was adorable, complete with a truck slide outside.  You had to enter the house from inside the building and it was just as adorable.

Bacon slide!

The most exciting part, though, was the ropes course.  We didn't have time to do it last time, but she was ready today.

Doing the lower section - just one story up.

Then up to the second level - two stories up.

She wasn't a fan of the crossings that didn't have a rope above or in front of her to hang onto.  You had to just hold your connecting line and balance.  But she did great and will only get more brave with future visits.

While waiting for the bus, we enjoyed the various signs.

Then off to the pig farm.

You go down different halls to view the pigs.  Each area is a different point in the life cycle.  The first picture looks like a tall hotel looking up the stories, but it's just the angle.  The first two are of newborns with their mommas.  They were adorable!

These are getting ready to be sold.

We finished our day with an late lunch/early dinner at the Cowfé.  We enjoyed samples of their cheeses while our food cooked.  Camden's go-to meal - quesadilla was top-rated.  The milk was beyond delicious.  And, of course, we had to get some ice cream for the drive home (no pictures, but if you get nothing else, get this!).
