Fair Oaks Farm - Cow and Crop Adventures

Our Friday adventures included a visit to Fair Oaks Farms.  We hadn't been in a few years and they continue to grow and evolve.  We bought our tickets and Camden excitedly introduced herself to some of the statues while we were in line.

We were able to catch a bus tour to the cow farm almost immediately.

Driving through the barn during feeding time for one side and walking to milking barn for the other side.  Our bus had to stop and wait for them to cross.

Then we get off at the milking barn to watch the operation.

Once back to the main building, we played in the interactive area and watched a 4-D movie about the farms.

It was too cold for the outdoor activities to be open (not until after Memorial Day), so we are glad we bought passes to come back!

Next we headed to the new Crop Adventure.  They were just building this the last time we were there.  This sidewalk mural was pretty cool.  It truly looks like if she took another step, she would fall into the hole!

This hanging ball allowed us to watch 3 short videos about our natural resources from all sides.

The last half of the building included more hands-on activities to introduce crops and farming them to kids.
