I took the week after Camden's birthday off from work so that we could have some time together before school starts. She made a gigantic list of things she wanted to do and we selected and item or two each day. We won't be able to do everything, but we will make a dent.
Kevin took Sunday night off from work, too, so that we had the whole day to party. That meant we had Monday together, too. We headed to Lafayette for some shopping. While Kevin went to the gun store (and bought a new one), Camden and I headed to Chuck E. Cheese's.
After all that fun, we headed for a short visit with Grammy. It was a beautiful day and she was sitting on the front porch of her nursing home. We sure enjoy even the briefest moments with her (well, Camden wanted to go play at the school across the street, but...).
