Advent: Day 19 - Christmas Lights

Kevin and I started dating in November (5 years ago!).   On one of our first outings we drove around looking at Christmas lights.  We both really enjoy seeing them.  It made a great advent outing last night for Camden.  She has enjoyed seeing the bright displays as we run around, but liked being on a purposeful hunt for them last night.

Although it's not a good picture, I wanted to include one of our regular sightings.  We see this one both morning and night on our way into town and Camden loves this "twinkle, twinkle little star" on top of some grain bins.

We drove down Main Street in Crawfordsville and were surprised that more of the big houses weren't decorated more extravagantly like the one below.  Most were more "stately" with a big colorful tree in the window and maybe a few lights framing the door ways.

We loved seeing this whimsical one in among all the more traditional decor.  Someone must wish they were in Florida!

We made a loop and ended the night by driving through downtown, which is nicely lit up with snowflakes (or flowers as Camden calls them) on each light pole.
