Fifi's Lunchbox

Before meeting Ginger, we stopped at our favorite Terre Haute lunch spot - Fifi's.  It's amazing, original, crazy sandwiches and fresh cut fries.  They are known for their donut burger, which we have never had.

Kevin tried their monthly special - a huge burger between grilled cheese sandwiches with chili, bacon, and other toppings.  It was messy to say the least!

I got the horseshoe, which is a concoction that was "invented" in Springfield, IL.  I'd seen it on TV and on menus, but never ordered.  It was a simple open-faced burger smothered in welch cheese and loaded with fries.

It was okay.  I really like their sweet & spicy coleslaw, plus we get their Hash Brown Casserole Balls.  We usually get them "angry" which means drizzled with siracha hot sauce.

Camden requested a cookie milk shake.  It was HUGE!  There was fudge smothered around the rim, giant chunks of chocolate chip cookies throughout, and a big dab of whipped cream on top.  Needless to say, she couldn't finish it...thankfully she had some help!
