Beasley's Orchard

After the racing we headed to my favorite orchard.  We each bought a wristband so we could participate in all the activities around the venue.  We only had about 2 hours before they closed, but it turned out to be the perfect amount of time.

We started in the "Barnyard Bonanza" play area.  Camden enjoyed the giant bounce pillow and Kevin and I played a few rounds of tether ball.  Kevin smoked me!  We then all played football/baseball/basketball.  I made up for the previous losses by dominating these games.

Because our time was short, we headed toward the other adventures that were part of the wristband deal.  Camden climbed the hay mountain while we waited for our turn at the apple cannon.

The apple cannon was impressive.  It had lots of power and was fun to use.

After we each shot our apples, we headed to the corn maze.  In all our adventures, we had never done a "real" corn maze.  This year's maze had a minions theme.

Kevin quickly taught Camden and I what makes a corn maze fun.  He got enough ahead of us to hid and jump out and scare us.  Camden got him back though.  It was a lot of walking (and I think we only did part of the first minion!), but we had lots of laughter.
