New Richmond Fireworks

We were wanting to see some fireworks on the 4th, but wanted to do something besides Crawfordsville.  Kevin wanted to park in the country outside New Richmond so we wouldn't have to fight the traffic trying to get out (or in!).  But I convinced him we needed a dessert/snack and to drive into town and drop me off...but we saw a good parking spot so we all headed for food.

We headed toward the crowd, got an elephant ear & Kona Ice, and back to the truck to move out into the country.  Kevin assessed the situation and decided that it was good viewing and, as long as we left as soon as the show was over, we would beat the crowd.  We set our chairs up in the back of the truck and waited for everything to begin.

We enjoyed this show immensely.  It was a good 20-25 minutes long.  And sure enough, we made it out without a bit of delay.
