Disney Spectacular - It's A Small World (and a few solos)

There were about 15 Disney songs featured in the program.  The first song the Young Performers did was "It's a Small World".  It was pretty basic with simple motions.  They did great!

The Rising Star group (elementary age kids who have auditioned and been selected) performed a few solos.  One of Camden's classmates, Emery, is the white rabbit.  She did amazing in her first solo in a live theater production.

Alivia is the daughter of my friend (and our realtor) who is a truly gifted performer and singer.  She "carries" a lot of the songs and is who other kids watch to remember the motions.  She did a solo as Maleficent (the wicked queen from Sleeping Beauty).

Stella is the daughter of my friend (and the Art teacher at New Market) and did a lovely solo as Esmeralda the gypsy in The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

These kids are great performers, but more importantly good kids.  I really hope Camden will give this group another try.  These are the kinds of thing that build confidence and poise, plus provide her some good role models just a few years older than her.
