Turkey Run Swimming

Camden hadn't felt well the night before (slight fever/vomitting/sleeping 12+ hours) so I kept her home from camp.  She woke up saying she felt fine, but didn't want to go to camp.  I think she needed some "home" time.  We relaxed all morning then wanted to get out of the house.  It was a beautiful day, so we decided a swim day was in order.  We invited Paxton too.

This pool is really gorgeous and she is now tall enough (and can swim well enough) to play on her own in a lot more of it than last year.  It was great to have a friend along...I got to lounge in a chair and just watch them have fun!

Of course, she did some jumping off the diving board.  It was mainly older kids doing it and she looked so tiny.  The lifeguards and a few nearby sun bathers asked how old she was and remarked how "fearless" and "cute" she was.

We all got a little sun-kissed too which is always a welcome part of a day at the pool.
