Back in her room, Camden made Mrs. Gonczarow a card.
Camden got a book out and started to read it, so some of her friends quickly gathered around her.
I brought a treat for the last day (as well as to celebrate summer birthdays - Camden and Macie). It was a low-key day, so Mrs. Gonczarow said we could have them before lunch. I brought little brownie bites (Camden's request) along with little dishes of ice cream and water. Another mom brought cake pops. The kids were most excited about ice cream! What a happy last morning of 1st grade!
