Imagination Station

We needed to renew our membership to Imagination Station (we depend on it for the cosortium of museums it belongs to that we get into free because of this membership - which is cheap!).  Saturday was the grand re-opening.  It's a volunteer run museum so not very fancy, but they had upgraded a few items and Camden always enjoys a visit.

This claw was her favorite activity.  She really could have stayed longer attempting to perfect the grabber.

The also added a "toddler" room (for 2-5 year olds) where she enjoyed playing kitchen and being a grill master.

The old fire truck had been updated with some added lights, blinkers, and horns.

Other science centers were scattered around in the downstairs activity room.

We headed upstairs and made goop.

The newest addition is a veterinary section.

Channel 18 (local news) was there filming.  Camden was "caught" a few times while she was downstairs, but the camerawoman focused on her when she was in the Animal Hospital.

We don't get Lafayette news stations, so we didn't see if she was on it, but we went to the website and she was their featured picture:  http://wlfi.com/2014/02/08/imagination-station-holds-grand-re-opening/.

I'm not sure how long the article will be accessible.  Their picture was so cute!
