This summer, Camden has been "swimming" in her three ring, $5 blow-up pool that we bought last year. Two of the rings popped last week and it was pretty sad and pathetic to watch her try to enjoy water in about an inch high "pool". She took to using the hose non-stop which is a big waste of money.
So we bought a new larger blow-up pool on Sunday. It's still only 1 1/2 feet deep, but it allows her to stay cool, play around, and even swim/float a bit. It fits on our sidewalk so we don't have to have a patch of dead grass...although when Kevin saw it, he thought we should pick an area of the yard and dedicate it to the pool.
She leaned up against the side, slung her arm up and said, "It's just like a hot tub, only cold."
It's 103" (about 8 feet) long, so she really does swim the length of it!
