Crawfish Dinner

One of Kevin's co-workers was in Mississippi and brought Kevin back some crawfish (or crayfish, if you prefer). We fixed them in some Jambalaya last night, but not before Camden got to hold one. We thought she'd be tentative, but she wanted to hold it and kept telling us about "tail" even through dinner.

Neither Kevin or I had prepared them before and were shocked with how little meat was actually in them. It was a great addition to the meal, but a lot of work! We also didn't cook them whole, because none of us were interested in sucking the heads (okay, brave enough).

Mud Bugs! You should have cooked them whole...the head part was scary at first...but that's where all the spicyness is when you cook them! yay! :)
