Lafayette visit

We journeyed up to Lafayette for the afternoon and evening on Sunday. We needed to run a few errands (30% off coupon from Kohl's!), plus we hadn't seen Grammy in so long. We only made a short visit, but Camden enjoyed talking and giving kisses to her great grandma.

We then headed over to Aunt Carole and Uncle Ric's for dinner, showing off, and playing cards. Camden had a ball with her cousins Amanda and LaLa. She dressed up like a pirate (notice the blue eyes between them) and making peace signs with monster fingers. She was quite talented at saying, "Peace" by the end of the experiment.

The most hilarious moment of the evening came when she dropped her bowl of Cheese Nips in the back room where the boys (and Lauren) were playing ping pong. Hershey (the dog) came over to help pick them up and Camden proceeded to mimic Hershey, getting down on all fours and picking up the Nips with her mouth. Despite how gross that is and that we need to teach her not to eat off the floor, we ROARED with laughter.

A close second was the girls entertaining her by playing with Big Mouth Billy Bass. I didn't even capture the best singing/dancing combo. Camden has quite the wiggle going on when she dances. It's even better when she gets her shoulders bobbing up and down. But this is classic Camden.

What fun to see some of your antics! I sure do miss you all! We're busy, busy, busy with taxes right now, but just a few more weeks and they'll all be done. Hugs and kisses from Gramma Pat
