4-H Meeting Project

Our 4-H club has changed directors and it has made a world of difference.  Camden looks forward to going to meetings and they do something interesting each one.

This month, they did Kids Against Hunger.  Camden has done this at church and was thrilled to do it again (despite the look on her face in some of the pictures).

After learning about this program and the problem of hunger in our community and around the world, they got their hairnets, gloves, and aprons and got down to packing the bags.

Each bag contains rice, soy, dried vegetables, and a vitamin/nutrient powder.

They were packaged in boxes and the kids wrote/drew messages on the outside.

In the hour these kids worked, they made 1,080 bags!
