Beaner finally has a name!
She came a bit early (in fact today is her actual due date), but Camden Raye Haile has graced our lives. She was born at 7:03am on Saturday, July 26. After 2 1/2 days of trying to induce labor, we finally had a C-section and got to meet our beautiful little girl. She was 6 lbs and 2.4 ozs and 20" long. Her eyes were searching from the moment she opened them. And they haven't stopped! She is the most alert baby I have ever seen. Grandma Pat (Gina's Mom) was the first to greet her.
She did have to spend 48 hours in NICU because of a possible infection - her white blood cells were too high. Only parents and grandparents got to hold her in there, but everyone who visited cooed over her as much as possible.
When she was finally released, she had several visitors who loved on her and made up for those miserable hours away from us.
My friend Ashley took some great pictures and wrote a nice post on her blog which can be viewed here.
Kevin and I couldn't be happier. She is just perfect!
