Art Walk
At the museum, I was reminded that it was Art Walk that night. Camden and I headed home, got dinner, and brought Kevin back with us to check out the downtown events. It was pretty low-key and we were at the end so things were closing down, but Camden got to do a few things and we all enjoyed a nice evening out.
Can you guess Camden's theme for the evening?

Museum Piece
Camden's first art piece is in a museum!
Our local Carnegie Museum is doing an installation on 4-H arts & crafts and invited all the county 4-H members to participate. Her "Unicorn on Blue" is part of the exhibit. The opening reception was last night. Camden (fresh - and wet - from swim practice) and I stopped in to see her work.

Pirates Quest Putt-Putt
Last weekend, the beautiful, non-rainy one, the three of us and Bella went to Indy for the day to do errands and something fun. Since it was so nice out, we decided to do a round of outdoor putt-putt. I had some coupons for Pirate's Quest on the north side so we headed there.
It quickly became obvious that this was a good place to know about. The two outdoor courses were in good shape and not overly difficult for a first-timer (Bella), but fun for those of us who have played many times.
The theming was cute too!
How come all our cute selfies are either blurry or have a thumb in them?

Camden selected the shortest putter. She wouldn't listen to the suggestion to go get a more suitable one and then her putting would be better. She was having fun regardless!

After our round of golf, we headed indoor. There was a nice arcade, a great bowling alley, and laser tag. I also had a coupon for the latter and we did a game of kids vs. adults. This was a great arena! Plus the game seemed to last a lot longer than 12 minutes. The four of us had such fun...and, of course, the adults thumped them!

Swim Lessons, Round ???
Continuing to work on stroke development. Because she is a strong enough swimmer to handle the deep waters without assistance, they do a lot of coaching from the sidelines. But he does occasionally jump in and demonstrate what he is telling her.
Also working on breathing technique. She is making great progress, although she still wants to lift her head up instead of to the side.
She is doing a great job listening to her Wabash student coach, Will. This is one of the best swim programs. The one-on-one learning is so worth it.

Unicorn Surprise
Aunt Carole surprised Camden with a treat she found at Sam's. Camden could not believe it.
She enjoyed unicorn power for breakfast!

Olivia's 5th Birthday
Our great niece turned 5 this weekend. It was a perfect day to celebrate with a little swimming, cake, and presents.
Camden was first in, but was soon joined by her cousins, Aunt Carole, and Uncle Ric.
The birthday girl loves mermaids and dolphins. Her yummy cake was a perfect selection.
Lincoln enjoyed getting spoiled by his aunts.
