Sunday Best

Camden wore one of her "best" dresses to church on Sunday so I decided to have a small photo shoot with her at Wabash College before we changed and headed to a park for some play time.  Unfortunately, she is still at the "no looking at the camera no matter what mom says or does" phase.

She also just wants to run, run, run.  Gotta love an active child!

Picnic in the Rain

What started out as a picnic on her picnic table in the front yard, turned into lunch at her desk on the (covered) front porch.  It was just a drizzle...a few days before all the harsh weather...but we enjoyed a little more fresh air by eating on the porch.

Chicken nuggets, carrots, and STRING CHEESE.  She loves pulling it apart.  It was a nice lunch together.

More Happy!

 And still dirty...

Happy!

Camden is so happy to be outside more often.  She gets to play...and get dirty.  That face is never clean anymore.

S'mores!

Camden favorite part of the evening was her first s'more.

She helped Daddy with every step...although we didn't toast the marshmallow hardly at all (she's very picky about 'hot' things).

She even got the "s'more smush" down.

The graham cracker fell apart on her and she took to just eating the marshmallow...and, of course, the chocolate!  She ate another piece of chocolate when the peanut butter got brought out...yum!

End of Year Cookout

Our small group from Church got together on Wednesday night for a final cookout together at the Chambers.  We had a great time with good food and cornhole!  Camden loved playing in the playhouse and with sidewalk chalk.

Rhubarb Crunch

We headed home after dinner and decided to splurge with a Rhubarb Crunch, ice cream, and some cards.

Camden headed out to the garden with Grandpa to cut the rhubarb.

Then came inside to help GaGa make it.  It's so simple to make....

And sampling along the way is permitted!

Mother's Day Dinner

On Sunday evening, after delivering the gift, we took GaGa and Grandpa to a little restaurant out in the country about 10 minutes outside Crawfordsville. It's called "A Country Affair."  They have a main menu of burgers (best in the county for the past few years...and I concur) and chicken sandwiches, but then have daily specials that are really unique, yummy, and huge!

It was a great way to spend the evening together...but it didn't end there.....

GaGa's Gift

Camden and I decided that we would add a flower to her project and give it to GaGa for Mother's Day.  The flower kinda overtook the whole stand, but it's pretty and we think GaGa liked it!
