These are some last, random pictures. At several places on the island, we spotted this hurricane reminder. Definitely puts a Category 4 or 5 hurricane into perspective. Pretty astonishing!
A large pier juts out toward the middle of the island. It's mostly used for fishing. Not a very good picture, but the only one of the three of us and the ocean. There was a very cool bridge in Savannah. We could see it from all directions when you approached the city and also from Tybee Island. We got this picture the day we visited the historic district in Savannah and walked along River Street.
Besides all the local seafood, our local treat of choice is definitely the Pralines. We had various samples throughout our visit. The ones at River Street Sweets melted in your mouth. Their bear claws were also top of the favorites list.
After taking the dolphin tour, we stopped at the welcome sign to get a self-portrait. It's a little dark and crooked (the camera was propped on the trunk of the car), but we wanted a family photo here.
As I mentioned before, I intended to take more pictures inside our condo, but didn't remember until the last day. Here is Camden enjoying the bunks.
Finally, on our drive home, we stayed the night in Knoxville, TN. We had the best barbeque at Sweet Peas and spent some time at a HUGE Bass Pro Shop where Camden selected a new ATV. She says she wants it in pink, though.
