Hayride & Pumpkin Patch

We stayed for several hours at the farm.  We didn't end up ever going in the corn maze.  It was quite warm and we were all getting tired.  I've been to a corn maze three times now and have yet to actually do one!

We did enjoy a nice hayride around the property.

One of our last activities was the corn cannon.  Despite the loud noise, Camden took her four shots.  Kevin helped aim, but Camden launched the cobs.

This expression happened after each shot.  She's pretty impressed with herself!

On our way out, we let Hali pick a pumpkin to take home.  Always the helper, Camden took charge of the selection process.

I always like to select our pumpkins from a patch.  So after we dropped Hali at home, we headed to a "pick your own" patch down the road from Waveland.  Camden found her pumpkin, declared it "perfect" and we snipped it off the vine.

We selected four very nice ones and the patch owner insisted we get a picture to seal the deal.

Back home, Camden helped carry them to the porch to complete our fall decor.
