Day 4: Manitou Springs

It was getting toward dinner time, so we decided to walk through a little town near Garden of the Gods called, "Manitou Springs." It was a quaint, touristy town with lots of shops and unique stores.

Camden had fun climbing on old stage coaches and playing at a water table outside one of the stores.

They also had a huge arcade area with every old video game and every rideable toy imaginable.

There was also a nice town park with a HUGE slide. Camden was timid at the riding toys, but went down the steep slide with no problems.

We grabbed a small snack here - some of the best frozen custard I've ever had - then headed back to Lora's house. We got back to the Denver-area close to 8pm, and were finally ready for some dinner. We stopped at a terrific barbeque joint near her house for some tender pulled pork sandwiches with various sauces. Great end to another wonderful vacation day.
