Waiting and Waiting...

The four of us (Paxton came too) headed out on Saturday morning for Crawfordsville's community Egg Hunt at the Lew Wallace Study.  The local paper said it went from 11am-1pm, so we arrived about 10:30am.  The place was empty but a handful of people.  Huh!?!

Turns out the paper had it wrong - it started at 1pm.  People were there beginning to set up and let us know that "outside the gate" activities would begin a little after noon and the gates would open about 12:45pm.  So we headed out to kill some time.  Unfortunately Kevin had to head to work, so he would miss out on the fun.  But when the three of us got back, the streets were blocked and the crowds were starting to boom.  Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny were in the midst and they had sidewalk chalk and bubbles to fill the wait time.  We could see inside the fence that the ground was LOADED down with eggs and prizes.  The event is sponsored by NUCOR Steel and they did it right!
