Swim Lessons

We signed Camden up for a parent/child swim lesson at Crawfordsville High School Aquatics Center.  It will be 4 sessions over the next 2 weeks.  Our first session was on Monday.  Kevin played the parent role at this first dip.



Camden could hardle contain herself for the 10 minutes we had to wait until it was time.  She wanted to get in the water sooo badly...even though she was a bit concerned that the black stripes on the pool bottom might be sharks.  Finally it was 5:30 and Daddy and Camden got in with the instructor Katie.

There is only one other mom and son in the class, so Camden got lots of attention.  She really enjoyed the various things she got to do for the 1/2 hour lesson.  It was especially fun because she could stand in the entire section and walk around.  She'd never experienced that in a pool before.

She talked about swimming all evening, at bedtime, and first thing when she woke up on Tuesday morning.  Wednesday we will have lesson number two!
