Our Christmas Tree

With the shorter time between Thanksgiving and Christmas we were not getting out to cut down a tree.  We still wanted a tree and decided to just borrow the artificial tree from my office.  But then Aunt Carole texted that the Noon Optimist tree lot in Lafayette had tons of trees left and were letting them go for a really good price.

We headed to Lafayette that night.  We did a nice stroll downtown beforehand, stopping for some treats at Sweet Revolution and McCord's (candy canes!).

The lot still had some very nice options and we quickly found a great one.

When we put it up in the house, it was so beautifully shaped and stayed perfectly green.  It is close to my favorite tree we have ever had.

This is a staged picture.  Camden did all the decorating and did an amazing job getting the ornaments all over the tree.
