The Halloween festivities start early, but we like to go to them, so we don't mind! Saturday there was a tiny event at Crawfordsville Square where Kroger/Dunham's/etc. is. There were about four games to play (over and over)...
There were two bounce activities to do (over and over)....
There were balloon animals to request, accidentally pop, and request again...
And trick-or-treating to do at the several stores in the area...They actually had some decent candy and she got a nice little stash for us all to share.
We didn't have a costume, so we grabbed a hat from the car. I still had the dolly and an empty box in there too and thought about having her be a moving gal, but it was about 50-50 of kids in costumes, so we just went with the hat!
She went on a little horse-drawn hayride around the parking lot...
And finally, she got her face painted. She requested a "hero mask" from the options. It was really simple, but turned out adorably (well maybe it's the face it's painted on). She did this about 1/2 way through trick-or-treating, so she really had a "costume" for some of the stores.
She washed off one side/eye the next morning and then was a rock star!
