Fall Break Girl's Trip, Day 2

Our first full day included a relaxed morning in the hotel and an afternoon at the Louisville Slugger Museum.

Pictures weren't allowed on the factory tour, but in the museum was a working turning a bat.  It is a really fascinating process and the tour is very informational.

In the museum we got to hold bats from famous players.  These are treasures and we had to have gloves on to touch them.  Growing up a Cubs fan, I had Camden hold the bat of Andre Dawson.

Then  I saw they had one of Babe Ruth's bats and we both took a turn.

We both got mini bats after the tour.

After the museum we headed for an afternoon snack at a popular Louisville ice cream shop, called The Comfy Cow.  It had wonderfully unique flavors.

Before heading back to the hotel for the evening, we spent some time at the "Renaissance Fun Place".  They had a great early bird special on a pass for mini-golf, go-karts, and laser tag.

We missed having Dad along for this place, but it was a good time.
