Last weekend while running around getting stuff for Austin's open house, Camden and I drove by the Crawfordsville Library. We saw a big crane in the sky and lots of cars in the lot. We went to check it out and discovered it was "Big Truck Day." There were probably 10 large vehicles in the parking lot for kids to crawl up in and explore.
Well...and I guess one small car, too.
One of our favorite moments was when all the operators got in their trucks and started having a "horn-off," honking loudly at one another. The ambulance and other emergency vehicles also put on their sirens and lights. It went on for 10-15 minutes. Camden was turning in circles trying to see which truck was honking at any given moment. We only stayed for a half-hour or so, but it was a fun, unexpected Saturday treat.
