French Braid

I normally do some variation of ponytails on Camden, but decided to take a few extra minutes on Saturday to braid her hair.  Not perfect, but a pretty first effort.

Camden has been obsessed with using scissors.  She got her playdough out and spent a good chunk of the morning cutting it.  She also insists on using my big scissors when cutting paper.  So far she has done fine, but it's not exactly the safest choice.  So I stopped at Walgreen's on the way home on Monday and bought a nice kid's pair.  She's been cutting out pictures in one of her coloring books for hours in the evenings.  She's really working on those motor skills.
